
Dr Tim Reuter has worked in competition economics for more than 15 years and has been in private practice for more than 10 years.
Who’s Who Legal lists Tim as a Global Elite Thought Leader in the economists under 45 category. He is recognised for receiving “widespread acclaim for his stellar expert witness practice, where he excels particularly in merger control and cartel damage cases”.
Tim has been involved in multiple Phase II merger investigations at the European Commission and the Bundeskartellamt (German Federal Cartel Office).
He has been an expert witness in cartel damages cases across several European Union countries.
He has also advised companies during market investigations and abuse of dominance proceedings by competition authorities, including several large digital platforms.
Tim holds a PhD in competition economics from the University of Konstanz and has been a researcher at the Center for Advanced Studies in Law and Economics at the University of Bonn.
His academic research is published in journals such as the Review of Industrial Organization and the European Journal of Law and Economics.
He has further published in practitioner journals such as the Global Competition Litigation Review and the ThoughtLeaders4Competition Magazine.
