Oula Heikka

Oula Heikka is a Senior Associate at RBB Economics, now based in the Helsinki office after starting at RBB’s Brussels office in 2022. He has over three years of experience as a competition economist, including his work at the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority before joining RBB.

Oula has experience in applying competition and regulation economics to practical cases, both as an authority and as an economic consultant to private parties. He has experience in several areas of competition law enforcement across different markets, with emphasis in merger control and resale price maintenance cases.

Oula holds an M.Sc. in Economics from University of Edinburgh, and a B.A. in Finance and Economics from University of Strathclyde. He has also studied at Hong Kong Baptist University.

He has experience in a range of sectors including fast-moving consumer goods, building automation systems, and logistics services.

Oula is a Finnish national and fluent in English.
