Michaela Wilson
Michaela is an Associate Principal based in RBB's London office. She has advised clients across a range of competition matters, including merger control, abuse of dominance investigations, cartel damages claims and other litigation.
Michaela holds an LLM in Law and Economics from Queen Mary University of London, as well as a BSc (Hons) in Economics and a BA in Law from Stellenbosch University.
Since joining RBB in February 2019, Michaela has worked on cases before the European Commission and before national competition authorities, regulators, and courts in other jurisdictions, including Australia, Botswana, France, Namibia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, and the UK.
Michaela's experience covers a wide range of sectors including business analytics software, chemicals, construction materials, consumer goods, corporate services, digital music distribution, insurance, oil and gas, online advertising, retail banking, retail fuel, satellite communications, short-sea shipping, sports betting, and veterinary services.
Prior to joining RBB, Michaela worked at a smaller consultancy where she advised on competition litigation in both the UK and the US, including a US class action litigation matter in the healthcare sector.
Michaela has also contributed to the Antitrust Bulletin (The Journal of American and Foreign Antitrust and Trade Regulation, 2019).
