Jakub Redlicki
Jakub Redlicki is a Senior Associate at RBB Economics, based in London.
Since joining RBB in 2018, Jakub has advised clients on a wide range of competition matters including mergers, cartels and abuse of dominance investigations.
Jakub holds a DPhil (PhD) in Economics from the University of Oxford. He previously completed an MPhil in Economics and a BA in Economics and Management, both at the University of Oxford as well. His research has been published in the Journal of Economic Behaviour and Organization.
Jakub has worked on competition matters before the European Commission and UK’s Competition and Markets Authority, as well as various other national competition authorities, including the Netherlands and Belgium. These have included mergers involving both horizontal and vertical issues, abuse of dominance investigations, cartels and damages litigation, and regulatory matters.
Jakub has worked on cases across a wide range of sectors, including airlines, broadcasting, chemicals, fast-moving consumer goods, financial services, leisure travel, online transactions, and railway signalling. He has advised clients such as Alstom, American Airlines, Duracell, Google, Illumina, Moody’s, Saudi Aramco, and Sunweb.
During his doctoral studies, Jakub taught microeconomics and game theory at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He also presented his research at conferences and institutions in the UK, USA, Japan, France, Switzerland and Poland, amongst others.
A Polish national, Jakub is fluent in Polish and English.
