Ignacio Loeser

Ignacio is an Associate Principal based in RBB’s office in Santiago, Chile. Prior to joining RBB, Ignacio worked at different economic consultancies advising global companies on a wide range of competition matters. He also served as an economist at the Merger division of the Chilean Competition Authority (FNE).

Ignacio holds a Master of Public Administration from the London School of Economics, where he specialised in Industrial Organisation and Data Science, and a Master’s in Economics from Universidad Católica de Chile.

His experience spans across various industries and conducts. Matters include advising Copec S.A. in a case involving exclusionary practice concerns raised by the FNE, and advising Volvo and Renault in follow-on damage assessments in the UK. He also led an economic team assessing the Essilor/Luxottica merger at the FNE.

Ignacio has taught economics at Universidad Católica de Chile, where he also received his Master’s in Economics. In addition, he holds a Master of Public Administration from the London School of Economics, where he specialised in Industrial Organisation and Data Science.

He is of Chilean nationality and fluent in Spanish and English.
