Esmeralda Jesoirens

Esmeralda Jesoirens is a senior associate, based in the Madrid office.

She holds an M.Sc. in Economics and B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Gent, Belgium. Before joining RBB, Esmeralda worked as a Senior Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers where she provided economic advice related to regulated industries.

Since joining RBB in 2020, Esmeralda has advised clients on a variety of complex competition matters including cartel damages litigation, merger investigations, alleged abuse of dominance and other litigation matters. Her experience in damage litigation includes the calculation of damages.

She has provided support to clients on investigations conducted by national authorities both in Spain and the UK.

Her experience spans different industries including telecom, energy, and pharmacy.

A Dutch national, Esmeralda is fluent in Dutch, English and Spanish.
