Chad Fourie is a Senior Associate based in the Johannesburg office of RBB Economics. Since joining RBB in 2021.
Chad holds a joint M.com. in Economics from the University of Stellenbosch and M.Sc. in Economics & Law from Utrecht University.
Since joining RBB, Chad has advised on a range of competition matters, including mergers and acquisitions, abuse of dominance investigations, and regulatory issues.
Chad has worked on multi-jurisdictional matters before the European Commission and before a variety of national competition authorities, including the South African Competition Commission and the UK’s Competition and Market’s Authority.
His experience spans a variety of industries including gambling, white goods, fuel stations, life insurance, and digital competition.
