Agata Sosnowska

Agata is a Senior Associate at RBB Economics, based in London. Since joining RBB in 2019, she has advised clients on a variety of competition matters before the European Commission, the Competition Market Authority as well as many other competition authorities around the world (particularly in the context of digital markets and multi-jurisdictional mergers).

Agata has considerable experience in digital markets, including as a result of a 1-year secondment to the Google’s Chief Economist team in 2023/2024, with the core focus being on digital regulation (mainly EC’s Digital Markets Act) and the CMA market investigation into mobile browsers and cloud gaming.

Agata’s experience also includes complex mergers and acquisitions, abuse of dominance cases, information exchanges, cartel investigations and follow-on damages.

Agata has worked on cases before the European Commission and before various national competition authorities, including Australia, China, Colombia, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Turkey, Ukraine, and the UK.

Agata has provided economic advice across a wide range of sectors, including digital platforms, personal luxury goods, water treatment, trucks, rail transport, signalling systems, and automatic doors. Clients she has recently worked for include Booking.com, Alphabet (Google), Richemont, Veolia, Alstom, Scania or ASSA ABLOY.

Agata holds an MSc in Economics from Barcelona School of Economics and an honours BSc degree in PPLE from University of Amsterdam.

A Polish national, Agata is fluent in Polish and English.
