On 22 April Daniel Gore spoke on The Role of Economics in Competition Law at a seminar in Beijing organised by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. The event marked publication by Law Press China of the local edition of The Economic Assessment of Mergers under European Competition Law (Cambridge University Press), authored by RBB partners Daniel Gore, Stephen Lewis and Andrea Lofaro with Frances Dethmers of law firm Clifford Chance. The translation project was supervised by senior staff at the National Development and Reform Commission, with the goal of providing a local language reference work for merger enforcers at the Ministry of Commerce.
