Maersk Line closed the acquisition of container shipping line Hamburg Süd on 30 November 2017 (https://www.maerskline.com/news/2017/11/30/ml-final-regulatory-approval-hamburg-sud). The acquisition required regulatory (merger control) clearances in 23 jurisdictions, including the European Union, the United States, China, Brazil and South-Korea.
