Adrian Majumdar and Simon Bishop were among the speakers at the GCR Live event which took place in Brussels on 13-14 November. Adrian participated in a panel which analysed the latest development in unilateral effects analysis, comparing approaches to UPP measures and merger simulation. Simon participated in the event’s set piece debate on whether the increased sophistication of economic analysis in recent years had enhanced the quality of the competition assessment in major cases. Derek Ridyard co-chaired the event with John Davies of Freshfields.
