Estonian Competition Authority closes excessive pricing inquiry in online portals

Following an in-depth investigation, the Estonian Competition Authority (ECA) has closed its inquiry into allegedly excessive pricing by real-estate and automotive online portals Kv.ee, City24.ee and Auto24.ee of Baltic Classifieds Group (BCG).

In the course of the investigation, the ECA reviewed evidence on the profitability and economic value of the portals’ services in the context of two-sided markets. The ECA’s decision contains a reference to the analyses presented in the RBB report.
