ACCC Chairman speaks at RBB’s Annual Sydney Conference

This year’s RBB Economics conference in Australia was held on 27 October 2016 at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Sydney.  Rod Sims, Chairman of the ACCC, again delivered the keynote address discussing increasing concentration in the Australian economy, while Chen Zhi Jian, Vice Director General of China’s National Development and Reform Commission, spoke about the challenges of dealing with competition issues in innovative industries.  Dr Lilla Csorgo and Dr Graeme Woodbridge, the Chief Economists of New Zealand’s and Australia’s authorities respectively also spoke at the conference along with leading competition law practitioners from Australia, and Simon Bishop, Derek Ridyard, George Siolis and Yan Yu from RBB Economics.Rod’s speech can be found here while the full programme for the conference can be downloaded below.
