The Competition Tribunal of South Africa announced earlier on 30 June 2016 that it has approved with conditions the proposed acquisition by AB InBev of SABMiller. This follows clearance decisions in Asia-Pacific (Australia, India and South Korea); elsewhere in Africa (Botswana, Kenya, Namibia, Swaziland, and Zambia); Europe (the EU, Albania, Turkey and Ukraine); and Latin America (Chile, Colombia and Mexico).
