RBB Economics will hold its annual Johannesburg conference on 9th April 2015. The conference will cover some of the key issues and recent developments in competition law and economics in South Africa and Europe, and their implications for firms and their advisors. In the first session speakers will focus on a robust framework for the assessment of non-horizontal mergers, an issue that continues to challenge agencies and courts. The second session will discuss challenges faced by firms in devising pricing policies that are compliant with applicable competition regulation. The conference will be followed by a drinks reception, celebrating five years since the opening of RBB’s local office in Johannesburg. The conference and the reception will be held at the Capital West Hotel in Sandton.
