George Tucker

George Tucker is a Principal based in the London office of RBB Economics. He has advised clients on a wide range of issues in litigation and competition authority investigations, including restrictive practices, abuse of dominance and merger control. Before joining RBB in 2015, George worked in the Chief Economist Team of the European Commission’s DG Competition.

As a competition economist, George has worked on a wide range of matters including litigation, horizontal and vertical merger investigations, abuse of dominance cases, cartel investigations, market investigations and regulatory issues. He takes a leading role in RBB’s internal FRAND team.

George’s experience spans numerous individual jurisdictions, including the EU, UK, Australia, South Africa and Brazil. He has also worked on international matters across Europe, Latin America, China, Australia, New Zealand and the USA.

George has worked across a variety of industrial, consumer, digital, transport and utilities markets, including airlines, container shipping, fast moving consumer goods, financial services, fuel, gas networks, pharmaceuticals and online platforms. He has worked for clients including Intercontinental Exchange, Maersk, Royal Mail, Teva and Unilever.

George has a Master’s in Industrial Economics and a degree in economics from the University of East Anglia.
